Good morning my friends and happy Friday! In the last week the days have been getting shorter and chillier, we started turning our heating on and we turned on our fireplace too, all this made me think about cozy, comfortable clothes and warm blankets for my home! It is the time to drink hot cocoa sitting in front of the tv or while listening to Christmas music, to bake apple pies and cookies and in Italy, it is time to cook and eat chestnuts! I love chestnuts, especially because thinking about them brings me back to when I was a kid and used to go into the woods to collect them. The schools in Italy always used to organize field trips to the woods and I remember getting bags and bags of chestnuts, which we would roast on the stove or on the fireplace if we went to my grandparents` house.

I don`t know about you, but I already started thinking about Christmas presents and I already made a list, this year I can`t wait for the time to come to put up our Christmas decorations and tree, my parents will be here on December 15th, so we will celebrate, eat a lot and have fun all together.

And here we are, it is Friday again… It looks like the weather is getting colder and the days shorter, on Sunday we will move the time back of one hour, so it will start getting dark at 5-5.30 pm? I don`t know you, but I hate it and I don`t really love the cold weather. The only thing that makes me accept the upcoming freezing days is the thought that Christmas is getting closer, I have been thinking about Christmas since September!
