I hope you had a nice week and that you are getting ready for the weekend.
I had a nice week, I was able to work at the office until 4 pm, which is unusual because I always have to leave early to go get the kids, but this week Aurora was in camp until 4.30 and the boys had an extended day at their daycare. I have to say, I like to work from the office (as opposed to working from home) because I know that I work better and I am more productive and concentrated. Next week will be different because all the kids will be home, so we will see what we are going to do! I am just hoping for nice weather, so we can organize some fun activities, we still have some fruit picking to do on our Summer bucket list and some water and amusement parks to visit!
Today I wanted to talk to you about Amazon, which, according to me is a mom`s best friend (after coffee of course). And Amazon Prime? I often find myself thinking about how I survived before I had it! I buy anything on Amazon and I get it in two days… amazing! After Amazon Prime day I realized that in the last few months I made some amazing purchases on Amazon and I wanted to share them with you, even thought the price now will be higher for the products I bought on sale. Since there are a few, I will list the first six today and next Friday you will find six more. Are you ready? Let`s get started:
1- FLORAL DRESS ($ 31.99):
I know that I have already talked to you about this dress, but the more I wear it and the more I love it! It is very comfortable, it is not tight on the belly (which I have to conceal somehow!!) and every time I wear it, I get compliments. I love the red color, but it comes in many prints and colors, so you will find one that you like! The link on the picture above will take you to another print, but then on Amazon you can pick the one that you like best.
2-INSTAPOT ($ 99.95):
I got this during the Amazon Prime sale for around $ 60.00, which was great. I didn`t have one yet and wanted to try it, so I decided to purchase it. I have to be sincere, I have just used it for rice so far, but it works great, you toss in the rice, water and salt and forget about it until it tells you that it is ready! (By the way, Platone does not like the noise, he barks every time he hears it!). The rice does not come out too soft or too sticky. I am planning on using it as a slow cooker too and I want to try and make Greek yogurt, but it might take a while. Anyway, I will give you an update soon!
3-NUT PODS ($ 13.95):
I didn`t even know these creamers existed. When I started using these when I was on a dairy free diet, I was really impressed by how creamy they are and by their taste, I like them so much that I am still using them in my coffee, even if I am not on that diet anymore. I like the fact that the creamer has a light coconut taste, but not too strong and it is so creamy!
4-LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK ($ 16.14):
I tried this because I saw that an Instagrammer that I follow was using it and she was saying wonderful things about it. Since I use a lot of lip balm (I am kind of obsessed!) I decided to give it a try since it was on sale on Amazon Prime day and I have to say, I am liking it! I use it as a regular lip balm also during the day, not just at night as a mask. It is light and hydrates very well. I don`t find it sticky and I like it because it gives my lips a glossy effect.
5-GINGER SHAMPOO ($ 14.00):
I already talked to you about this shampoo: it is the only one that I use, it is paraben free and not tested on animals and it works for my scalp, which is not too itchy anymore. I still like it a lot and I decided to buy it because it was on sale on Amazon Prime day!
6-DEIK VACUUM CLEANER ($ 80.98):
I had been looking for a cordless vacuum for a while and then I saw an Instagrammer that I follow using this one, so I decided to try it. It is pretty cheap and I have to say: it is not bad. Of course you don`t have to expect it to be as powerful as a Dyson, but it works well for the use that I need. I wanted something to use quickly to vacuum crumbs and pets hair that accumulates during the day (even after exactly 2 minutes after vacuuming the whole house!!) and I think this one does its job.
