If you live close to Boston you are probably dealing with all the snow from yesterday`s snowstorm. I have mixed feelings about snow, I love it, I always did: my favorite part is the `sound` of the snow falling, I love to go outside, especially in the evening when it is dark, and listen to it when everything is still around, because everyone is trying to keep warm inside (I have to admit, yesterday with the excuse of playing with Platone, I lied in it and I enjoyed it!!). I also like to wake up and see all the white covering everything outside, knowing that we don`t have to go anywhere and that we can cozy up in our house! On the other hand as I already mentioned, my husband travels a lot and I had to shovel a lot of snow in the past (we will see what happens this year, but I am a supermom so I should be ok, right?) which is not my favorite part. I usually try to find the fun part in that, last year I bundled up all the kids and we went outside to clean our driveway, actually I was cleaning and they were playing and rolling in the snow! The other thing I love about snow is that in our old neighborhood we all met outside shoveling and it was kind of fun because as soon as someone finished his driveway, he or she would help the neighbors!
Back to our post, today I wanted to list some of my favorites of this week, I still feel the holiday spirit, so you will still see some red (actually red is one of my favorite colors, so you will always see a lot of it!).
TV SERIES `THE RANCH`:
I recently started watching this tv series with my husband and it makes us laugh so much, I think it is really funny! My husband and I often try to watch a tv series together because we feel that it is one of the little things that keep us closer. Instead of falling asleep as soon as we touch the bed, we try to stay awake and watch at least one episode! Most of the times he will fall asleep or will have to work, so I keep watching episodes, but we recently managed to watch together the tv series Quantico (2 seasons!!). Among the tv series that we started together and I finished by myself there is `A good wife` and `The good doctor`. There are other series where he will just jump in and watch an episode or two, like `Grey`s anatomy`, `Chicago Fire` or `Chicago Med`.
BOBBLE WATER BOTTLE (AMAZON, $ 9.00):
I owned this bottle (and two more) for years and I love it, it is a filtering system, so it will filter your tap water. I try to drink at least 2 lt of water a day, especially now after the holidays in order to flush all the bad toxins (and there are a lot I am sure!!). Drinking plain water is not extremely difficult for me, but sometimes it gets more challenging, especially during weekends when I forget to take my water bottle with me everywhere I go. I have a couple tricks that may be useful: when I work in the office or at home, I always keep my water bottle close to me, so I am constantly reminded to drink. Second, I take it with me in the car when I get out to pick up the kids or to run errands, so when I stop or when I have to wait in the car I will drink and it will be easier to reach my goal. The funny thing is that the more you drink and the thirstier you get during the day, I think it is because you get so used to get water that your body keeps asking for it, the tricky part is just to force yourself to drink at the beginning! Fun fact: I don`t drink iced water, I like it at room temperature, even in Summer! I know it is something that American people don`t understand, but Italians don`t use much ice!! (I never, ever put my water in the fridge…).

CAUDALIE UNDER EYE CREAM (VINE ACTIV) AND FACE CREAM (RESVERATROL LIFT):
I got these two creams in a set in the last order I placed at Sephora because I never tried anything from this brand and I saw it around a lot, so I started to get curious. They were in a kit and they are travel sizes, so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did because I love them, especially the face cream, I think it has improved a lot the softness of my skin. It is not too greasy and it absorbs quickly, which is a plus especially when you have to put makeup on and don`t have much time!

RED POM POM BEANIE:
I got this beanie not long ago from Norstrom on sale, it was very cheap, I think I paid $ 15.00 for it! Unfortunately I can`t find my beanie anymore, but I will link below a cute dark red one. I got it because I thought I needed something more festive for the holidays. I really like it because it is a heavy cotton that keeps your head warm, but does not itch your forehead. I love to match the color of the hat with the nail polish or even better, the lipstick, I think it is very chic!
RED NAIL POLISH (KIKO, N.238):
Well, as I already told you, I love red, especially around the holidays, but I feel like most of the time I will reach for red nail polish, I think it is the most beautiful, most feminine, chic color. I love this brand of nail polishes because it is very cheap but lasts so long. I think I also found the perfect combo using a gel topcoat from Essie, which I think makes it last longer. I can`t find the color red in the line that I use and love from Kiko, but I will link a nice poppy red color below (it is just one dollar, can you believe it?!):
