Good morning my friends and happy Friday!
I hope you had a very nice week and are planning a great weekend. We had a nice (but tough) week with a new camp for Aurora, today my husband is coming back home from a trip to Europe and I have to say that I am glad, because the kids were a little all over the place. They were adjusting to their routine (the boys are back in school after a two week break) but then their dad left for a week for his work trip, their teacher was on vacation so they had the other teachers who usually help her, but it is not exactly the same. So we are still all getting adjusted, but we are ready to spend the weekend together.
Today I wanted to talk to you about jewelry, not the real one of course, but the pretty, easy, inexpensive jewelry that is good for everyday use and especially for Summer. I wanted to share with you some pieces because I found some on Etsy lately that I really love and what I like the most is to support small shops. I also found some colorful earrings which I think are perfect for Summer (not my husband`s favorites, haha!!). Some pieces are from Madewell which I believe delivers worldwide, so it is a great news for my Italian friends! So are you ready? Let`s get started:
1-ROSE EARRINGS (ETSY, $ 49.00):
I saw these earrings a couple months ago on an Instagrammer, Karla Reed, you should follow her, she looks like a really nice person and has a great style! I fell in love these earrings and I recently decided to purchase them. I got them on Etsy, this is the name of the shop: shopmosshandmade. They are so beautiful and the amazing thing is that they are made of clay… Can you believe it? I had to get them in pink (of course) but I am thinking about getting them in white too. They are very lightweight and match my red Amazon dress, which has some pink in it, I think they add a really nice, delicate touch.
CURVED TASSELL EARRINGS (NORDSTROM $ 32.00):
These earrings are very popular this year, I saw them online and I decided to get them and see if I liked them. I got them in pink (I actually ordered them in white but then I found out that they were out of stock) and I really like them, I think they are very playful and perfect for Summer and Fall. They come in different colors, which include a very nice rusty-gold color.
3-HOOP EARRINGS (MADEWELL $ 22.00):
I saw these earrings in the store and really liked them. I got them in a very light pink and white color and I think they are very nice for Summer. They are very cute and easy and I think they are perfect for the beach. I hardly ever wear jewelry at the beach, but these are plastic and I don`t think they would get damaged with the sun and the water.
4-HEART SHAPED EARRINGS (GLITTERROOM, EURO 22.00):
I got these from an Italian online shop, Glitter Room. I get a lot of jewelry there (I might have bought another pair of pink tassel earrings!!) because I think it is very nice and good quality. These earrings are beautiful, they are pink gold color and I love the heart shape. They are a little big, so I like to wear them when I am dressed up or for the office and I don`t usually wear a necklace with them.
5-POPPY CHOCKER (MADE BY MARY, $ 48.00):
This is another Etsy find which I really really love! I wear it almost every day and it matches every outfit. I think I already talked to you about it, but I wanted to mention it again because I like it so much. I like to wear it by itself or to layer it with longer gold necklaces, it looks very nice!
