Happy Friday friends,
How are you? I hope you had a great week. It is Friday, can you believe it? The weekend is almost here!
I don`t know about you, but yesterday as I was writing down on my calendar all of my appointments for the next months, I noticed that as the school started, the calendar is getting busier and busier: activities, birthday parties, doctors appointments, dentists… I am not complaining, I just need a minute to get adjusted to the new crazy schedule!

We had a great week and celebrated a lot my boys! Their official birthday was exactly a week ago, so they celebrated with their friends at school: they decided they wanted vanilla cupcakes with m&ms and frosting (with m&ms on top too!). I have to admit that I cheated a little: I made the cupcakes but I got a frosting from Target that was amazing because it was placed in the tub, so I just had to cut a hole and then swirl the frosting on the cupcakes! On Friday night we celebrated at home, just the five of us and all that the boys wanted was mac & cheese, but not the homemade ones, the ones that come in a box! My Italian mom heart broke a little when they asked it to me, but it was their birthday and it was easy, so I accepted! On the bright side, I have to say, it is so easy: dinner was ready in 15 minutes! On Saturday we decided to take them to their favorite place: Legoland, it was a cloudy, windy day, so it was perfect. They had a lot of fun, but also got very tired and, needless to say, this led to terrible tantrums in the afternoon. On Sunday the celebrations went on, we had a brunch at our house with our good friends and then we walked to downtown where there was a very nice festival. The boys were so happy because they got to use the new scooters that we gave them for their birthday and then they met almost all of their friends at the festival. That night they were so tired that they fell asleep almost immediately! This weekend they will have their big party with all of their friends, they are very excited.
Here are a few pictures of my boys, just to remember how cute they are!

Today I wanted to talk about tv series. I love them and I am always watching them at night, I find it a great way to unwind and relax. As soon as one ends I am always a little sad, because finding a new one is very hard, especially because I got attached to the characters in the old one and I am afraid that the new characters will not compare! Anyway, I feel like I have become kind of an expert in tv series over the years and I would like to provide you with a list with some of the ones I watched on Netflix lately. I also watch tv series on Amazon and on the tv channels like Fox, Abc or Nbc. I realized that I love medical tv series, the ones that are set in hospitals: I am currently watching Greys Anatomy, Chicago Med, The Resident and New Amstrdam and I am loving all of them. I am also watching Chicago PD and Chicago Fire (I am very excited because the new series will be starting soon!) and Suits on Amazon.
Let`s get started with some of my favorite from Netflix:
-Friends
How could I not mention Friends? It is my favorite tv series of all times, I still watch episodes here and there when I see them on tv. Actually, now that I am thinking about it, I will start watching it again soon…
-Designated survivor
This is the tv series that I am currently watching with my husband and we are enjoying it. It is about the president of the United States and it is a great way to get an idea of what happens (or could happen) there.
-Money Heist
This might be one of my favorite series so far. It was suggested to me by my friend Silvia first and then by so many other people that I had to start watching it. It is a Spanish series and has been translated in English, it is about a group of thieves that plan to rob the royal mint of Spain. Really really good one, I can`t wait for the fourth season to be released.
-Grace and Frankie
I love this series too. It talks about the friendship between two elderly women who are so different and used to hate each other. Really, really funny and I have to say that Jane Fonda is amazing!
-The good place
I just watched the first season and enjoyed it, very funny! They are now at the third season, so I have to keep watching it (it will probably be my next choice!).
-Jane the virgin
I just watched the last episode of the last season and enjoyed it. It is a very easy, funny show, a great way to unwind, it is a telenovela where the unimaginable happens!
-The ranch
This is a very funny show. I watch every season with my husband as soon as it comes out. (The fourth season is coming this Friday). It is the story of a guy (Ashton Kutcher) who goes back to his home and works at his family`s ranch with his dad and older brother. Very funny, we always laugh a lot!
-Night shift
This show is set in a hospital, how could I not watch it?!
-Atypical
This is a very nice series that talks about a guy with autism and his family. It is funny and very interesting because it touches different topics (family, homosexuality, teenager years, infidelity).
-The Fosters
This is another of my favorite series, I watched it with my husband and he loved it. We found it very interesting because it talks about the foster system and we learned a lot. It touches many other very interesting topics like marriage, teenagers, being twins, adoptive kids, divorce, homosexuality
-Life unexpected
This is a short series which again I watched with my husband. It talks about a kid who wants to find out who her birth parents are and she does. She finds out a lot about them and herself in the process.
-Quantico
I think I watched just the first two seasons of this, but I enjoyed it, it is about a group of people that receive the training to become FBI agents and one of them is suspected to be a bomber.
-The Kominsky method
Very funny show starring Michael Douglas, I really recommend it.
-The Sinner
I watched this series with my husband, both seasons, and we really enjoyed them, especially the first one, very interesting. It talks about a woman who commits an homicide without even knowing why and a detective who helps her remember why that happened. I really recommend it.
-What if
This is a pretty short series starring Renee Zellweger, who is incredible. I liked it and could not understand what was going on until the end! It talks about a woman who is looking for funds for her startup and gets a deal from a mysterious investor.
And this is it for today. If you love tv series like I do, I hope you found this post helpul!
I wish you have a great weekend and I will meet you here next Friday!
