Good morning friends and happy Friday!
I hope that your week went well and that you are getting ready for the weekend. As you are reding this post I will be in Montreal, Quebec, enjoying a couple days mini vacation with my family. We couldn`t wait for these days to come, we really needed some time away from the routine (especially me) and from work and all the stress (especially Gabriele). We also love to travel with the kids, they are still a little too young, especially the twins, but we like to show them new, different things. I hope they will cooperate and that we will enjoy our trip. And I can`t wait to celebrate my birthday there with my family, it will be so nice and different!
The days before we left have been a little stressful for me because as I told you at the beginning of the week, Platone wasn`t feeling well. It turned out to be a tendinitis, easily treatable with an anti inflammatory, so hopefully he will be better very soon.
So, today I was thinking about writing kind of a wish list for some house finds that I don`t own (of course) but that I saw around and fell in love with. I saw many of them from the new line at Target (Opaline house) dedicated to home décor, all the items look so nice and good quality, I think I will have to run there and check them out!
1-THROW PILLOWS FROM TARGET OPAL HOUSE COLLECTION ($ 29.99):
I saw these pillows online and on Instagram, some instagrammers that I follow purchased them and they look very nice and good quality. I like them in the cream color, but since my couch is cream color too, I wonder if they would be too light. Maybe I should get them in pink…
2-POUF FROM TARGET OPAL HOUSE COLLECTION (49.99):
I love this pouf, which complements very well the pillows above. The only thing that I am noticing is that it looks a little small, so I would have to see it in person, but isn`t it cute with all those cute sticthes?
3-PINK VELVET ARM CHAIR ($ 269.99):
Well, let`s be serious, who doesn`t need a pink velvet armchair? I am picturing it in my home office, but since I don`t have the space, it might look very nice in my bedroom too…
4-SCENTED CANDLE FROM ANTIQUE CANDLE WORKS (FROM $ 16.00):
I never tried these candles but I saw them on Instagram and I am really tempted because I like candles and I love to smell a clean, fresh scent in my house. These candles are made in the US and it looks like they are very good quality, the smells seem very good too..
5-BASKETS:
I love the idea of having woven baskets around the house. I own one that I got from Home Goods that I keep close to the couch and I put blankets in it, but I would like to add more to put more blankets and pillows in the living room, in the office and maybe in the kids bedrooms. I saw these tassel baskets on Anthropology and I immediately thought of the kids` bedroom, how fun are they? They also come in a blue-cream color combination.
I also love these from H&M and the fact that they could be used as pots for plants.
